HomeMy Public PortalAboutM 1976-07-20 - LRAADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING JULY 20, 1976 The Lynwood Redevelopment Agency met in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, on above date at 7:45 p.m. Resolution No. LRA 76 -13 entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. LRA 76 -10 AND AWARDING $2,000,000 BONDS OF SAID AGENCY TO THE BEST BIDDER AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS." was presented. It was moved by Mr. Byork, seconded by Mr. Morris, and carried, that Resolution No. LRA 76 -13 be adopted. Roll Call. Ayes: Members Byork, Green, Higgins, Morris, Rowe. Noes: None. Absent. None. Mr. Green stated he would like to request the Lynwood Chamber of Commerce to start contacting existing businesses who are going to be uprooted and give them all the assist- ance possible in relocating them in Lynwood. Adjournment It was moved by Mr. Byork, seconded by Mr. Green, and carried, that the meeting of the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency be adjourned. /Secretary �— Chairman Chairman Rowe in the chair. Members Byork, Green, Higgins, Morris and Rowe answered the roll call. Also present was General Counsel Murphy. Res. LRA REPORT ON PROPOSALS FOR PURCHASE 76 -13 Re OF TAX ALLOCATION BONDS Tax Alloca. Bonds The Agency received a report from Mr. W. A. Rutherford of Wainwright and Ramsey relative to proposals received for purchase of tax allocation bonds of the Lynwood Redevelop- ment Agency. The low bid of 7.08% was received from Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner and Smith, Inc. and Associates, and is almost a full percentage point under the maximum of 8% which was allowed. Resolution No. LRA 76 -13 entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. LRA 76 -10 AND AWARDING $2,000,000 BONDS OF SAID AGENCY TO THE BEST BIDDER AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS." was presented.
