A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE EFFORTS OF THE MOAB CITY ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT OFFICE TO RENEW THE UTAH RECYCLING MARKET
DEVELOPMENT TAX CREDIT PROGRAM IN MOAB
WHEREAS, Moab City strongly supports efforts to improve conditions for local businesses
and their employees; and
WHEREAS, Moab City strongly supports efforts to assist local businesses in accessing Utah
State economic development incentives; and
WHEREAS, the Utah Recycling Market Development Tax Credit Program may
provides tax credit incentives to Moab businesses involved in utilizing recycled
materials in production and distribution.
NOW, THEREFORE, we, the Governing Body of the City of Moab do hereby endorse the
efforts of the Moab City Economic Development office to renew the Utah Recycling Market
Development Tax Credit Program in Moab, thereby allowing Moab businesses to take
advantage of tax credits as allowed under the Program.
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by action of the Governing Body of the City of Moab in open session
this 1Ph day of February, 2014.
