The Greencastle Common Council met in Special Session Wednesday, October 17, 2001, 6:00
p.m. at City Hall. Mayor Michael called the meeting to Order at 6:10 p.m. On the Roll Call, the
following were found to be present: Councilor Hammer, Councilor Liechty and Councilor
Rokicki. Councilor Roach and Councilor Crampton were absent.
Ordinance 2001 -12, An Amended and Restated Ordinance Concerning the Construction of
Certain Additions, Extensions, and Improvements to the Waterworks of the City of Greencastle
and Advance Refunding by the City of Greencastle of its Waterworks Revenue Bonds of 1995,
Authorizing the Issuance of Waterworks Revenue Bonds for Such Purpose; Providing for the
Collections, Segregation and Distribution of the Revenues of the Waterworks and the
Safeguarding of the Interests of the Owners of Said Bonds, Other Matters Connected Therewith,
Including the Issuance of Notes in Anticipation of Bonds, and Repealing Ordinances Inconsistent
Herewith, first reading. Motion to waive the reading of Ordinance 2001 -12, was made by
Councilor Rokicki, seconded by Councilor Hammer. Motion to accept Ordinance 2001 -12 was
made by Councilor Hammer, seconded by Councilor Rokicki. Vote was unanimous.
Ordinance 2001 -13, An Amended and Restated Ordinance of the City of Greencastle
Authorizing the Advance Refunding by the City of its Sewage Works Revenue Bonds of 1994;
Authorizing the Issuance of Sewage Works Revenue Bonds for the Purpose of Providing Funds
to Pay the Costs of Certain Additions, Extensions and Improvements to the Municipal Sewage
Works of Said City; Providing for the Safeguarding of the interests of the Owners of said Bonds,
Other Matters Connected Therewith, Including the Issuance of Notes in Anticipation of Bonds,
and Repealing Ordinances Inconsistent Herewith, first reading. Motion to waive reading of
Ordinance 2001 -13 was made by Councilor Rokicki, seconded by Councilor Hammer. Motion
to approve Ordinance 2001 -13 was made by Councilor Hammer, seconded by Councilor
Rokicki. Vote was unanimous.
Councilor Hammer made a motion to allow Trick or Treating in the City on Wednesday, October
31, 2001 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., seconded by Councilor Rokicki. Vote was unanimous.
