SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Idaho Code 67-5732A allows the conveyance of surplus personal property to other state and local agencies. The Valley County Sheriff’s Office has requested to purchase the body armor
worn by a former employee of the McCall Police Department. The former employee has accepted a position with Valley County Sheriff’s Office. Body armor is custom fit and made for individual
officers. Body armor has a five-year life. The police department has prorated the cost of the vest to the remaining life of four years. The purchase price is $500.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution 19-21 authorizing the sale of the surplus personal body armor to Valley County Sheriff’s office and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
