SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Syringa Networks, LLC has approached the City to lease one of 3 installed conduits. They are hoping to interconnect the Park Place building, Central District Health and a building on
Lake Street. In response to Council concerns Syringa has accepted updates to the contract. Contract is for a term of 10 years with review of contract after 5 years then automatic
renewal going forward. Syringa will be responsible for fiber installation and maintenance related to the leased conduit. This would provide for a monthly recurring income. This contract
has been reviewed by the City Attorney.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve Duct Occupancy Agreement with Syringa Networks, LLC and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
