The Lynwood Redevelopment Agency met in the City Hall,
11330 Bullis Road, on above date at 9:45 p.m.
Chairman Morris in the chair.
Members Byork, Green, Higgins, Rowe and Morris answered
the roll call.
Also present were Executive Director Davis and General
Counsel Murphy.
It was moved by Mr. Green, seconded by Mr. Byork, and
carried, that the minutes of regular meeting of February
5, 1980, be approved as written.
The Executive Director reported that prospective tenants
for the commercial center have received approval from
the regional office'and are awaiting approval from
the company's real estate department. The Executive
Director also reported that he has met with aft indi-
vidual who has expressed interest in relocating a
first class restaurant in the redevelopment area.
The Chairman requested the Executive Director to con-
tact the school district regarding a meeting to
discuss problems relating to the joint venture with
the school district. In response to Mr. Green's
inquiry relative to the old Lynwood Press building,
the Executive Director advised that the property has
been purchased and that the Agency is ready to pro-
ceed with demolition.
It was moved by Mr. Green, seconded by Mr. Rowe, and
carried, to approve request to update appraisals of
Agency property.
The meeting was adjourned.
