REGULAR MEETING MARCH 4 1980
The Lynwood Redevelopment Agency met in the City Hall,
11330 Bullis Road, on above date at 9:30 p.m.
i Chairman Morris in the chair.
Members Byork, Green, Higgins, Rowe and Morris answered
the roll call.
Also present were Executive Director Davis and General Coun-
sel Murphy.
It was moved by Mr. Higgins, seconded by Mr. Rowe, and
carried, that the minutes of the regular meeting of Febru-
ary 19, 1980, be approved as written.
Mr. Green inquired about a joint meeting with the School
Board and was advised that one will be scheduled within the
next few months.
Mr. Higgins inquired about the status of demolition of
buildings and was advised that this has been deferred
pending completion of a staff report.' Mr. Rowe recommended
that the buildings be rented on a month -to -month basis.
The Chairman inquired about the status of the majors who
haverto be moved out and the Executive Director advised
that the developer could buy the property from the indivi-
dual owners, or the Agency could buy the property after it
has been appraised. In response to the Chairman's inquiry
about the possibility of litigation, the General Counsel
stated that the Agency has stayed within the statutory
guidelines. The Executive Director advised that two property
owners have for some time deferred needed expansion and have
indicated that they can no longer delay expansion
Mr. Byork inquired if the School Board has made plans for
building. The Chairman advised that the School Board is
not prepared to make a request at this time.
