The Lynwood Redevelopment Agency met in a regular session
in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, on above date at
10:55 p.m.
Chairman Thompson in the chair.
Members Byork, Green., Morris, Rowe and Thompson answered
the roll call.
Also present were Executive Director Gomez and General
Counsel McEwen.
It was moved by Mr. Green, seconded by Mr. Morris, and
carried that the minutes of the regular meeting of April 20,
1982, and the adjourned regular meeting of April 22, 1982,
be approved as written.
Req for Requests for proposals on proposed Section 202/8 Develop -
proposals ment was introduced. Director of Community Development
202/8 Dev Read gave a synopsis of the program, and the application
is due by June 30, 1982.
Dr. Charles Floyd, Chairman of the Committee; Dave Litsinger,
First Baptist Church; Robert Read, Lynwood Unified Methodist
Church; Rev. Marvin Dean, Lynton Community Church gave
reports as to where the committee stands now, how they were
selected, and the many-hours spent on this project.
Mr. Reed Flory from HUD gave a synopsis of HUD's position
with this program.
Council Staff has recommended Council approve the RFP and schedule
approval RFP a workshop to review and discuss sites with the community.
Workshop It was moved by Mr. Green, seconded by Mr. Morris, and
carried, that Council concur with the recommendation.
RES LRA RESOLUTION NO. 82 -14 entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE
82 -14 REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA
Demands ALLOWING AND APPROVING THE DEMANDS AND ORDERING WARRANTS
5 -4 -82 DRAWN THEREFOR." was presented.
