REGULAR MEETING MAY 15, 1984
The Lynwood Redevelopment Agency met in a regular session
in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, on the above date at
7:45 p.m.
Chairman Morris in the chair.
Members Byork, Henning, Rowe, Thompson and Morris answered
the roll call.
Also present were Executive Director Gomez and General
Counsel Feldman. 0
It was moved by Mr. Thompson, seconded by Mr*. Byork, and
carried, that the minutes of the regular meeting of-May 1,
1984 be approved as written.
Councilman Henning requested a number of warrants explained.
After the agency discussion,
RES. No. LRA 84- 14RESOLUTION NO. LRA 84 -14 entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE
Demands 5 -15 -84 REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, LYNWOOD,
CALIFORNIA ALLOWING AND APPROVING THE DEMANDS AND ORDERING
WARRANTS DRAWN THEREFOR." was presented.
It was moved by Mr. Thompson, seconded by Mr.,Byork, that
the resolution be adopted.

'Letter re
Staff stated a letter had been received from Mr. Joe Surber,
Fi stand
Pyrotronics Corporation, to use agency owned .property at
the northwest corner of Long Beach and Sanborn Avenue "from
June 28 to July 4, 1984, for operation of a, temporary fire-
works stand. Mr. Surber is aware of all of the city's
requirements with respect to fireworks stands and has
agreed to make a nominal $30 payment for the short term
use of the land, and will furnish insurance for the city
and agency. It was moved by Mr. Byork, seconded by Mr.
Thompson, and carried, that the agency approve the use of
the agency land on Long Beach Boulevard and Sanborn =Avenue,
and the $30 payment for the use of the land.
I. Honorof -
Ms. I. Honoro£, 2901 Los Flores, stated now that the law
sale of fireworks
in Sacramento has changed, wouldn't it be a good idea to
ban all sales of fireworks in Lynwood.
It was moved by Mr. Rowe, seconded by Mr. Thompson, and
carried, that the meeting be adjourned to May 22, 1984.
