MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS
Date : March 16, 2020 — Regular Session
Time : 5 : 30pm .
Location: 2198 Main Street, Brewster, MA 02631
Present : Deputy Assessor James Gallagher
Remote Participant : Chair Belinda Eyestone; Members G . Howard Hayes & Diane Salomone
Call to Order : Ms . Eyestone called the meeting to order at 5 : 39pm.
Pursuant to Governor Baker ' s March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open
Meeting Law, GL c . 30A, § 18 , and the Governor ' s March 15 , 2020 Order imposing strict
limitations on the number of people that may gather in one place, this meeting of the Brewster
Board of Assessors is being conducted via remote participation. No in-person attendance of the
public will be permitted, but every effort will be made to ensure that the public can adequately
access the proceedings as provided for in the Order . Despite our best efforts , we are not able to
provide for real-time access , and we will post a record of this meeting on the town ' s website as
soon as we are able .
Due to the public health issue related to COVID - 19 , the regular session portion of the agenda
was canceled. Those topics will be taken up at a later meeting .

2 . Discuss Local Options for Tax Relief
3 . Review and approve Regular Session Meeting Minutes
January 6 , 2020
4 . Topics the Chair did not reasonably anticipate
Executive Session (To comply with or act under the authority of, any general or special law or
federal grant-in- aid requirements : MGL Chap . 59 § 32 ; MGL Chap . 59 § 60 and MGL Chap . 214
§ 1B)
At 5 : 40 pm Ms . Salomone made the motion to go into Executive Session for the reason noted
above, not to return to regular session. Ms . Eyestone seconds the motion . Roll call vote : Hayes
— Aye ; Eyestone — Aye, Salomon — Aye ; approved unanimously .
