2 . Minutes of March 9 , 2020 meeting :
Approved unanimously from March 91h meeting without additions or corrections .
3 . Treasurer' s Report .
Approved unanimously . We have $ 3 , 192 and $ 600 will be added into the account from the town .
4 . Discussion and appointment of new secretary and treasurer
New Treasurer : Richard Perry
New Secretarv : Tonia St . Germain
5 . Discussion - potential for new Cultural Committee members
Janet Jones Tonia will contact
Robert Melson Tonia will contact
Jacqulyn Mitchard Kathleen will contact
6 . Processing submissions for reimbursement for artistic projects that have occurred in the 2019- 20
Season :
Awarded 19 grants many have done all or partial , some have been reimbursed , or reimbursement is in
process .
Rog and Richard will meet with Town to devise a plan for reimbursement and report next meeting .
7 . Discussion of priorities for how future grants will be evaluated :
Rog will send off draft prepared in March . Also, we need to consider adding a statement about COVID -
19 to web site and any announcements made advertising the grant process in September . Plan is to
consider what it should say at August meeting .
8 . Discussion of support for the creation of a Brewster Cultural District
Rog will contact Peter Lombardi tell him we will be happy to participate and bring Ed or Kathleen along if
possible .
9 . Discussion of the other initiatives that the BCC has traditionally implemented : an art show, a literary
evening, and a musical evening :
Hold off on the events due to COVID and spend time focusing on our BCC membership, developing our
council , and setting priorities .
10 . Any other business that may legally come before the Committee , which the Chair may not have
reasonably anticipated :
No .
