A RESOLUTION SETTING THE FINANCE CHARGES TO BE CHARGED ON ALL ACCOUNTS
RECEIVABLE OVER THIRTY (30) DAYS OLD.
WHEREAS, the Governing Body of the City of Moab finds it necessary in accordance with Utah
State Accounting Procedures to set finance charges on all outstanding accounts receivable accounts with
Moab City;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Moab City Council, that the finance charges
to be charged on all accounts receivable accounts over thirty (30) days old shall be three percent (3)
monthly on commercial accounts and five dollars (5.00) monthly on residential accounts. These rates
shall become effective with the May 2014 Utility Billing.
PASSED AND APPROVED in open Council by a majority vote of the Governing Body of Moab City
Council this 22nd day of April, 2014.
