The ordinance establishes a new Uptown Hamel planned unit development zoning district. The purpose of the district is to provide an attrac- tive, high quality, mixed -use district for the Uptown Hamel neighborhood. The ordinance regulates the area as a planned unit development under multiple ownership and establishes permitted, conditional and accessory uses within the zone. The ordinance includes a district guide plan which incorporates a map and illustrative drawings of development within the district. It establishes devel- opment standards which are applicable to all uses and guidelines for public improvements. The ordinance rec- ognizes that most of the property which will be placed within this district is already developed but that existing buildings may be enlarged or changed in the future. The full text of Ordinance No. 334 is available for inspection at Medina city hall during regular business hours.
