LYNWOOD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OCTOBER 18, 1994 The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Lynwood met in a Regular Session in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road on the above date at 7:45 p.m. Chairman Richards presiding. Member Byrd, Heine, Henning, Rea and Richards answered the roll call. Also present were Executive Director Gonzales, Interim Agency Counsel Rudell, Secretary Hooper and Treasurer Pygatt. ' Secretary Hooper announced the Agenda had been duly posted in accordance with The Brown Act. It was moved by Member Heine, seconded by Member Henning and carried to approve the following minutes: a) Regular Meeting, October 4, 1994 It was then moved by Member Byrd, seconded by Member Henning to 3'� A adopt: LRA RESOLUTION NO. 94 -36 ENTITLED: "A RESOLUTION OF THERES94 -36 REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, ALLOWINGWarrants AND APPROVING THE DEMANDS AND WARRANTS DRAWN THEREFORE ". ROLL CALL: AYES: MEMBER BYRD, HEINE, HENNING, REA, RICHARDS NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE Chairman Richards then introduced the next item, Proposed OfficeRichards Use at Frontier Foods Shopping Center, and called for a staff Frontier report. Executive Director Gonzales stated the participant is requestingGonzales ' a lease from Frontier Market for office space. Lease will be to Frontier the WIC program. It was moved by Member Heine, seconded by Member Byrd to approve staffs recommendation to draft an Implementation Agreement to allow the use as proposed. ROLL CALL: AYES: MEMBER BYRD, HEINE, HENNING, REA, RICHARDS NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE It was then moved by Member Byrd, seconded by Member Heine and carried to continue Closed Session to the Conclusion of City Council Discussion Items. PUBLIC ORAL COMMUNICATIONS Arturo Reyes discussed newspaper articles pertaining to thEA.Reyes Entrepreneur Academy. Also questioned outstanding loans andEntreprer current audits for the Academy. Adolph Lopez discussed an article published in the California A.Lopez Business Management magazine that listed the Lynwood Entrepreneur Ent r.P.c% Academy as one of the few small business incubator programs in Acadamy the state. Also questioned whether or not the Academy courses could be translated to Spanish. Karen Hayes requested a tour of the Entrepreneur Academy, as wellK.Hayes as a comprehensive report. AGENCY ORALS Member Byrd volunteered to escort Ms. Hayes on a tour of the Byrd Academy. Chairman Richards discussed positive advertisement in the Richard: Business Management article.
