The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Lynwood met in a Regular
Session in the City Hall 11330 Bullis Road on the above date at
7:43 p.m.
Chairman Byrd presiding.
Members Heine, Henning, Rea, Richards and Byrd answered the roll
call.
Also present were Executive Director Gonzales, Agency Counsel
Rudell, Secretary Hooper and Treasurer Pygatt.
Secretary Hooper announced the Agenda had been duly posted in Andrea
accordance with The Brown Act.
ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION
It was moved by Member Henning, seconded by Member Heine and Henning
carried to approve the following minutes:
a) Regular Meeting, April 4, 1995
It was then moved by Member Henning, seconded by Member Rea to Henning
adopt:
LRA RESOLUTION NO. 95 -12 ENTITLED: "A RESOLUTION OF THE RES 95 -1'e
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, ALLOWING WARRANTS
AND APPROVING THE DEMANDS AND WARRANTS THEREFORE ".

REGULAR ITEMS
Executive Director Gonzales introduced the next item a proposed Gonzales
Long Beach Boulevard mixed use project.
Director of Community Development Chicots gave a presentation onChicots
the mixed -use commercial /residential Downtown Lynwood Projects.
Executive Director Gonzales discussed the architectural concept Gonzales
and mixed use.

Member Henning questioned the original intention for the Henning,
Technical Assistance Grants.
After further discussion, it was moved by Member Heine, seconded Richards
by Member Richards to:
APPROVE THE CONCEPT AND DIRECT STAFF TO REPROGRAM THE TECHNICAL
ASSISTANCE GRANT AND INITIATE THE STUDIES NECESSARY FOR THE
PROJECT.
with an amendment to instruct staff to put together an RFP which
will include the majority of the information given tonight.

PUBLIC ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
Arturo Reyes discussed necessary improvements at the Lynwood Reyes
Plaza.
William Cunningham spoke in favor of the proposed Downtown Cunninghar
Lynwood Project.
Hearing no further discussion, it was moved by Member Henning,
secAnded by Member Heine and carried to adjourn at 8:32 p.m.
