~ ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR TEMPORARY FLOOD
RELIEF IN THE HILL SECTION IN THE BOROUGH
OF C~RTERET, COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, STATE OF
NEW JERSEY, AppROPRIATING $30,000.00 FROM
THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND/RESERVE FOR
SEWER IMPROVEMENTS OF THE BOROUGH FOR THE
COST THEREFOR.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTEREq
IN THE cOUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Borough of Carteret, in the County of Middlesex~
New Jersey hereby authorizes providing temporary flood relief ii
the Hill Section of the Borough with all purposes necessary
incidental or appurtenant thereto:
SECTION 2. For said improvements or purposes, there is hereb'
appropriated the sum of $30,000.00 which amount is made availabll
from the Capital Improvement Fund/Reserve for Sewer Improvements.
SECTION 3. The Capital Budget of the Borough is hereby amended t(
conform with the provisions of this ordinance to the extent of an
inconsistency herewith.
SECTION 4. The purposes described in Section 1. herein are no
current expenses. These are all improvements that the Borough ma~
lawfully undertake as General Improvements, and no part of thc
costs thereof has been or shall be specially assessed on propert5
specially benefited thereby.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect as provided by law.
