LYNWOOD INFORMATION, INC., JANUARY 5,1999
The Information, Inc. of the City of Lynwood met in a Regular Session in the City Hall,
11330 Bullis Road, on the above date at 6.28 p.m.
Chairman Sanchez presiding.
Director Byrd, Rea, Reyes, Richards, and Sanchez answered the roll call.
Also present were Interim Executive Director Davis, City Attorney Thever, City Clerk
Hooper, City Treasurer Pygatt and Department Heads.
Deputy City Clerk Hooper announced the Agenda had been duly posted in accordance
with The Brown Act.
Director Reyes requested the record reflect that at the Special Meeting of December 29,
1998 he made a mistake while voting and at this time would like to change his YES vote
to a NO vote on LII Resolution No. 98.11
SCHEDULED MATTERS
Minutes of the previous meeting, Special Meeting, December 29, 1998.
It was moved by Director Reyes, seconded by Director Richards and carried to continue
these minutes pending the inclusion of language amending the resolution to reflect the
inclusion of "technologies."
PUBLIC ORALS
Adolph Lopez 11431 Plum Street, questioned why the Christmas Parade was not listed
under the Lynwood Information, Inc. Also questioned why the Spanish version of the
parade is being delayed. Questioned why there is a lack of signage on major streets
within the City indicating facilities such as the Youth Center, Hospital, and City Hall.
Demanded Council air a Spanish version of the Christmas Parade.
DIRECTOR ORALS
Director Richards discussed the use of the Lynwood Information Inc's. participation in
the review and approval of the Cable Agreement, and public information needs of the
community Also, the Information, Inc. should reflect all actions for cable documents,
agreements, and Media One, in connection with the community needs.
It was then moved by Director Richards, seconded by Director Byrd to have staff to put
together a workshop to address these ideas, as well as communication needs.

Having no further discussion, it was moved by Director Richards, seconded by Director
Rea and carried to adjourn at 6.28 p.m.
