HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 84-1106 PCRESOLUTION NO. 84- 1106PC A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DETERMINING. THE EXISTENCE OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE AND RECOMMENDING ABATEMENT THEREOF. THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE: WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, on February 14, 1984, held a duly noticed public hearing to ascertain whether certain premises constitute a public nuisance; and WHEREAS, upon hearing and considering all relevant evidence and testimony, said Commission found and determined that such nuisance exists and should be abated; NOW, THEREFORE, the Planning Couunission hereby determines that a public nuisance, as defined in the Municipal Code of the City of Temple City, exists on the premises designated as 5335 Sultana Avenue, City of Temple City, California, and more particularly described as a paortion of Block F of Tract No. 11218, H.B. 202, p. 47 -48 of Maps in the Office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, California, in the following particulars: ISection 4230(d) - Premises maintained so as to constitute a fire hazard by reason of woods, rank overgrowth or accumulation of debris; Section 4230(r) - Maintenance of premises in such condition as to be detrimental to the public health, safety or general welfare or in such manners as to con - stitute a public nuisance as defined by Civil Code 3480. Section 4230(s) - Property maintained in such condition as to become so defective, unsightly, or in such condition of deterioration or disrepair that the same causes depreciable diminution of property values of surrounding properties. Section 4230(t) - Maintenance of premises so out of harmony or conformity with standards of adjacent properties as to cause diminution of enjoyment, use or property values of such adjacent properties. That abatement by the following methods shall be effected: Removal of all debris from the rear yard area within 30 days That the Secretary of the Planning Commission be and he is hereby authorized and directed to file a copy of this Resolution, with find- ings and,recommendations attached, to be served on the owners of said premises pursuant to the Municipal Code of the City. } That the Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. ADOPTED and APPROVED this 14 day of February , 1984.
