In general, the scope of this project is a multi-use A-1, A-3, B, and S-2 occupancy with accessory, mechanical, and support space. This project is a A-1, A-3, B, and S-2 occupancy. Total allowable building area is calculated based off this occupancy. 2015 IEBC Chapter 3 -Provisions For All Compliance Methods 301.1 -General 301.1.2 Work Area Compliance Method -Repairs, alterations, additions, changes in occupancy and relocated buildings complying with the applicable requirements of Chapters 5 through 13 of this code shall be considered in compliance with the provisions of this code.
