Mike Weiss the meeting to order at 12:15 p.m. Public comment: None Approval of Minutes from September 2020: The September 3 2020 regular meeting minutes were presented for review. Several corrections were proposed and will be added to the minutes. The revised minutes will be brought to the November 5 meeting. New East-West Taxiway Alternatives: The FY21 Airport Improvement Project (AIP) was discussed. Staff plans to request Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) funding to design and construct an East-West taxiway to replace the recently removed "Diagonal Taxiway" and improve traffic circulation to the businesses on the northeast ramp. A decision has not been made by the FAA concerning funding. Four concept drawings were provided. Staff recommended version 3 (the taxiway to run immediately south of the north ramp pavement). The AAC was agreeable to alignment#3. North Ramp Helicopter Pads: T-O Engineers has provided a drawing to mark North Ramp Helicopter Pads. These pads will be temporary until the Airport Master Plan determines a better location. The pads will be painted while the striping crew is here for the first marking of the new taxiway pavement. Currently scheduled for Oct. 1 -2. The AAC agreed with the placement of helicopter landing markings on the north ramp. A question was raised concerning additional helicopter landing markings on the north ramp. This issue is being examined as part of the Airport Master Plan(AMP). Temporary Control Tower The temporary aircraft control tower has been extended to Sunday, October 4th—but may remain open past that date, depending on the continued need from the Forest Service. Taxiway Reconstruction Project The overall project continues to be on time and on budget. As of Monday, September 28th, the project was 90% complete. Remaining work includes striping, topsoil placement and grading, seeding and mulching. Major project work is expected to be completed on Oct. 8th when all taxiways will be available again. AIP 28—Airport Master Plan The AMP project continues. Drafts of the introduction, socioeconomic and inventory chapters are completed. The draft forecast chapter has been reviewed by Staff and will be available at the website: https://www.to- engineersprojectinfo.com/jobs/1550/details/mccall-municipal-airport-master-plan The draft forecast chapter needs Federal Aviation approval. Next up is Chapter 5: "Facility Requirements". The first meeting of the Technical Advisory group will be scheduled in October. A public meeting will be scheduled shortly after the Technical Advisory meeting. The project team is continuously seeking public input which will become part of the Master Plan. Seven comments have been received.
