1. CDBG Application for Fiscal Year 1987 -88 funding requests
for Public Service Projects.
COMMENTS
The HCDA Advisory Board received eight (8) requests for
funding under the Public Service Program at their meeting
of March 4, 1987. At the time the Board also received
input from the project proponents. Due to the number of
proposals submitted the Board determined to hold a special
meeting on March 25, 1987, to make the final determination
on proposal selection. This additional time also allowed
the Board to better evaluate the merits of the proposals
and rank them in compliance with CDBG guidelines (Evalua-
tion forms have been forwarded to Board members)
RECOMMENDATION
Staff respectfully requests that the Board, after considera-
tion, determine (a) proposals to be funded, (b) funding
amounts to be granted, and (c) direct staff to prepare
final recommendations for City Council consideration.
