B. 105 FREEWAY CONSTRUCTION Comments: Commissioner Litsinger has requested that Commission discusses the problems of dust created by truck traffic along Fernwood. C. CITY UPDATE Comments: Staff will update the Commission on the status of a variety of projects within the City. III. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF THE CITY HALL, 11330 BULLIS ROAD, CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA I t a:cac -agd ,I COMMUNITY AFFAIRS COMMISSION -- MINUTES ADJORNED MEETING JANUARY 14, 1987 The Community Affairs Commission of the City of Lynwood met in a adjorned session on the above date at 5:OOpm in the Council Chambers of the Lynwood City Hall, 11330 Bullis Rd., Lynwood, California. Those present were: Bette Espeseth, Ann Fields, Marion Madden, Lucille Walker, David Litsinger, and Barbara Newton. Also present was Donald Fraser and JoVonne Lavender. The meeting was called to order by commissioner Litsinger. There were no minutes to be approved. Donald Fraser discussed the effect of the Brown Act on how the commission can conduct their meetings which included: agenda requirements, prohibited actions, possible punitive damages, public participation, and commission orals. Specific questions about the Brown Act were addressed by Mr. Fraser. It was moved and seconded that the Community Affairs agenda be posted in the same manner that the City Council's agenda is posted. JoVonne Lavender distributed schedules for Student Government Day and gave the commissioners instructions as to their responsibilities for that day. Schedules included specific times and locations for the tour. Questions about Student Government Day were addressed by JoVonne Lavender. All of the commissioners that were present turned in their Name the Trolley Contest entries so that the selection process can proceed. It was moved by and seconded that the special meeting be adjourned.
