ORDINANCE NO.53-2016
AN APPROPRIATION (TRANSFER) ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2016 BUDGET
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for
calendar year 2016 on October 19, 2015, with Ordinance 59-2015; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one major
budget classification to another within a department or office; and
WHEREAS, The transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total amount set
out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-1-1 et seq.; and
WHEREAS, This transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and without
the approval of the Department of Local Government Finance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the 2016 budget be amended as follows:
A. 101-General Fund
1. Delete $25,000 from Engineering, Personal Services
Account number 101.08.080.110.000.1196 Salaries $25,000
Total Deleted $ 25,000
2. Add $20,000. To Human Resources, Other Services & Charges
Account number 101.01.003.110.000.3110 Physicals $ 5,000
Account number 101.01.003.110.000.3990 Contractual Svcs 15,000
3. Add $5,000 to Metro, Other Services & Charges
Account number 101.07.070.110.333.3990 Contractual Svcs $ 5,000
Total Added $ 25,000
