1) My request to the Interim City Manager for the purchase of a microwave and a
refrigerator was denied on May 12, 1993 As directed by Chairperson Ann Fields at
the Lynwood Showcase viewing on June 9, 1993, I will prepare the memorandum
from the Cable Access Advisory Board and direct it to Councilman Louis Heine
2) I attempted to contact Hub Cities through our Human Resources Department, to
obtain some clerical assistant for Ron E. Roberson at the Lynwood Cable Studio.
I was informed that the State of California has not approved its contract with Los
Angeles County for Hub Cities Consortium's Youth Job Program. Therefore, we
will make efforts to acquire a cable clerk at the onset of the next Cable Internship
Program session.
