HomeMy Public PortalAboutAddendum No. 1 to Contract No. 57-2016 - Engineering- Servicesby Beam ,Longest & Neff LLC for construction srvcs. for Manor Drive extensoionSUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 1 This Supplemental Agreement, made and entered into this 20� day of (5M6y- , 2016, by and between the City of Richmond, Indiana, acting by and through its proper officials (hereinafter referred to as the "OWNER"), and Beam, Longest and Neff, L.L.C., Consulting Engineers, 8126 Castleton Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46250 (hereinafter referred to as the "CONSULTANT'). WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, the OWNER and the CONSULTANT did enter into an Agreement, dated JuA/C 3 to provide professional engineering services for the construction observation on the Manor Drive Extension Project, and, WHEREAS, the OWNER desires to have the CONSULTANT reduce the current estimated not to exceed amount of the Agreement, and, WHEREAS, the CONSULTANT is qualified and prepared to perform the services required in said work and they agree to perform such services under the terms and conditions herein set forth, and, WHEREAS, in order to provide for completion of the work as modified, it is necessary to amend and supplement the original Agreement, NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed by and between the parties hereto as follows: On page 1 of the original Agreement, under Item IV, the not to exceed amount is decreased by $12,100.00 to $136,900.00. 2. On page 1, Appendix "D" of the original Agreement, under Section A, paragraph 1, the not to exceed amount is decreased by $12,100.00 to $136,900.00. 3. On page 1, Appendix "D" of the original Agreement, under Section A, paragraph 2, the last section is amended to read as follows: The not to exceed amount assumes one (1) RPR will be on site for twenty three (23) weeks an average of forty (40) hours per week and the Project Manager will work on the Project an average of 1.5 hours per week. Should the twenty three (23) week duration or the 1.5 hours per week be exceeded, a supplemental agreement may be required. 4. Except as herein modified, changed and supplemented, all terms of the original Agreement, datedJ'&iyt 3, W14 , shall continue in full force and effect.
