To: City of Lynwood Department Re: Inter Youth Soccer Club. 0 of Parks and Recreation. Dear Sirs: Inter Youth Soccer Club is a group of approximately 50 kids ages 6 to 12 of which about 70% are residents of Lynwood. The purpose of the club is to provide children with a safe and fun activity thru the game of soccer and at the same time keep themlof the streets and drugs. During the daylight savings period we run into the problem of not having a park space with lights that we can use for practices. This year we have made arrangements to pay for the use of lights at the cost of $24.50 per hour at Lynwood Park. We normally practice 2 days per week, 2 hours per day. Since we are Non Profit it is very hard to support this expense and we are limited to practice only one day a week. We need your help. We would like you to consider that since we work for children and we have no money, perhaps you could have the light fees waved or at least reduced so that we can afford to keep children active. We all thank you for-your help.
