A RESOLUTION OF TI!E PLANNING COMMISSION
OF TIIE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DECLARING ITS
INTENT TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING TO
DETERMINE THE EXISTENCE OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE:
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Temple City finds •
that certain premises within the City may be maintained contrary to the
provisions of the Municipal Code of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that -a public hearing be
held to ascertain whether or not a public nuisance exists,
• .NOW, THEREFORE, the Planning Commission hereby declares its intent
to hold a public hearing on February 12, 1985, to ascertain whether cert
premises situated in the City of Temple City, State of California, known,.;;
and,.designated as 4834 Arden Drive in said City,•and.moi
particularly described as Lot 11, Tract 15098, MB 330, pp. 41 -42 of':Maps
in the office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, State of •
California
constitute a public nuisance subject to abatement by the City:
Ocontrary to the provisions of Section 4240 of the Municipal the following conditions maintained on said property may -exist

Section 4230(L) Dead trees, weeds and debris (1) constitrting unsightly
appearance or dangerous to the public safety and welfare or detrimental to
nearby property or property values.
Section 4230(o) - Garbage cans stored in front or side yards and visible
from the public streets.
Section 4230(P) - packing boxes or other debris stored in yards and visible
from pudic streets for unreasonable periods of time.
That abatement by the following method(s) has been suggested::
1. Removal of all accumulated plant debris from rear yard area.
2. Removal and /or orderly storage of miscellaneous debris consisting of
fencing, old tires, fertilizer bags and any other items in rear yard
area.
3. Removal of trash cans and bags from southern side yard and street view.
That the City Clerk shall cause the owner of said premises to be
served with appropriate notice in the manner prescribed by the Municipal
Code:
That the Secretary of the Planning Commission shall cause said
premises to be posted in the manner prescribed by the Municipal Code;
The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
