REGULAR MEETING OF THE PERSONNEL BOARD
CITY OF LYNWOOD
June 21, 1990
The regular meeting of the Personnel Board of the City of Lynwood, California
was held on Thursday, June 21, 1990 at 5:00 p.m in the Council Chambers of the
Lynwood City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, Lynwood, California The agenda was duly
posted as prescribed by the Brown Act.
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Litke at 5:15 p m.. Roll call was
takes by Gail Black, Personnel Analyst Commissioner Gilpen (excused) and Lewis
(unexcused) were absent
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Commissioner Bell
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The motion was made by Commissioner Swift and seconded by Commissioner Bell to
approve the minutes of the regular meeting of May 17, 1990 as presented All
in favor Motion carried
STUDIES & REPORTS
The Board reviewed classification statements and minor changes to some existing
positions within the Employee Classification and Position Plan There was a
general discussion regarding the various position statements Commissioner Swift
made the motion to recommend to the City Council their approval of the changes
Commissioner Bell seconded the motion All in favor. Motion carried
ORAL COMMUNICATION
Ms. Black noted that Department Heads would be scheduled as time permitted to
speak at Board meetings
Ms. Black further informed Board members of CPR training which would be conducted
sometime in August for any members who would be interested in participating
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to conduct, the motion was made by Commissioner
Swift and seconded by Commissioner Bell to adjourn at 5 55 p.m . All in favor.
Motion carried. The next regularly scheduled meeting is July 19, 1990 at 5:00
p.m..
