SPECIAL MEETING OF THE PERSONNEL BOARD
CITY OF LYNWOOD
May 3, 1990
A special meeting of the Personnel Board of the City of Lynwood, California was
held in Thursday, May 3, 1990 at 5:00 p.m in the Council Chambers of the Lynwood
City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, Lynwood, California The agenda was duly posted as
prescribed by the Brown Act
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Gilpen at 5:10 p.m Roll call
was taken by Gail Black, Personnel Analyst All commissioners were present
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Pledge was led by Commissioner Lewis
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Commissioner Esparza made the motion to approve the minutes of the regular
meeting of April 19, 1990 with Commissioner Swift seconding All in favor.
Motion carried
STUDIES & REPORTS
Commissioner Litke made the motion to certify the eligibility list for the position
of Account Clerk (closed promotional) with Commissioner Esparza seconding. All in
favor Motion carried.
Commissioner Litke made the motion to certify the eligibility list for the position
of Associate Civil Engineer (open recruitment) with Commissioner Lewis seconding.
All in favor Motion carried
ORAL COMMUNICATION
Ms Black informed Board members of the Board's reorganization scheduled for their
May 17th meeting As of this date Council had not made their selection of Board
members.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to conduct, the motion was made by Commissioner
Swift and seconded by Commissioner Lewis to adjourn at 5.17 p.m.. All in favor.
Motion carried. The next regularly scheduled meeting is May 17, 1990 at 5:00 p m.
