FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
THIS AMENDMENT, made and entered into this 12 day of � ,
20 0, by and between the CITY OF RICHMOND BOARD OF VIATION
COMMISSIONERS (OWNER) and BUTLER, FAIRMAN and SEUFERT, INC.
(ENGINEER) shall be attached to and made a part of the AGREEMENT made on July
6, 2015, between OWNER and ENGINEER providing for professional engineering
services.
WHEREAS, the PROJECT requires additional services of the ENGINEER to complete
the project. The FAA has requested geometric modifications requiring additional
design and administration effort. The project will require additional administration with
FAA coordination, project reporting, and grant administration for an additional year.
NOW THEREFORE, pertaining to the required additional services services for the
PROJECT, the OWNER and ENGINEER in consideration of their mutual covenants
and purposes of completing the PROJECT herein agree to amend or supplement the
AGREEMENT as set forth below.
UNDER APPENDIX "A", "SERVICES BY ENGINEER", SECTION B.
Phase 2 — Pavement Rehabilitation and Geometry Correction
Add to Paragraph 1.2.4: Modify the final drawings and specifications to
show the general scope, extent and character of the work to be constructed.
Specifically, the design effort will address the width of the runway and the
runway thresholds per meetings with the FAA in October of 2016.
2. SPECIAL DESIGN SERVICES
Add a Section 2.9: Fiscal Year 2017 Project Administration (Assumes all work
elements are awarded for construction in the same fiscal year. In the event the work
elements are awarded in separate fiscal years additional project administration will be
required.)
2.9.1 Prepare up to 2 FAA grant applications, 1 for the design phase and 1 for the
construction phase of the project.
2.9.2 Prepare up to 12 FAA and INDOT partial pay requests.
2.9.3 Prepare 1 closeout document and report of final findings.
2.9.4 Report project status in up to 12 monthly airport Board meetings.

UNDER APPENDIX "C", "Schedule"
Replace Section 3 with the following:
1. Geometry finalization meeting - Prior to March 1, 2017
2. 90% Plans and Specification to FAA and INDOT - Prior to May 1, 2017
2. Final Design all Phases - Prior to June 2017
UNDER APPENDIX "D", "SCHEDULE OF BILLING BY ENGINEER", PARAGRAPH
2. Phase 2 — Pavement Rehabilitation and Geometry Correction
Increase: Phase 2 — Pavement Rehabilitation and Geometry
Correction from $78,500.00 to $105,500.00
Increase: Project Administration from $18,000.00 to $36,000.00
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the OWNER and the ENGINEER have signed this
Amendment in duplicate. One counterpart each has been delivered to the OWNER and
the ENGINEER.
