| RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE MNDPENINSULA
REGIONAL OPEN SPACE DISTRICT AUTHORIZING THE GENERAL MANAGER
TO APPROVE PERMITS TO ENTER DISTRICT LANDS
| WHEREAS, in the normal course of District business, there are occasions when a government agency,
� nonprofit corporation, academic institution, or other public or private third party requests permit to |

research, or for other purpooca� and
WHEREAS, Section 5538 of the Public Resources Code authorizes the Board of Directors to fix the
� duties of tile General Manager; and

WHEREAS, Section 554) of the Public Resources Code authorizes the Board of Directors oodoall
things necessary and convenient in order to control, operate and maintain the District's system of open
space preserves; and
WHEREAS,the Board of Directors determines that it is necessary and convenient for the purposes of |
accomplishing thc District's mission most efficiently and economically that the General Manager be

the conditions set out in this Resolution;

NOW,THEREFORE, BE 0[ RESOLVED that the Board of Directors ofthe K4idpe'insu|o Regional |
Open Space District hereby authorizes and delegates to the General Manager the authority to issue '
permits to third parties to enter and use District lands or easernents provided all of tile following �
conditions are met:
l. The project is minor and temporary;
2. The project ia determined to bc categorically exempt from CE0A; |
3. Tile work is done soamtm minimize any disturbance to District land, and conducted in full
compliance with all applicable District policies, including the District's Resource
Management Policies and iund Use Regulations;
4. The land is restored to its prior condition upon project completion,
5. The form of the Permit to Enter is approved by District Legal Counsel; and �
6. The General Manager shall report\othe District's Board of Directors at its next regular |
meeting any permits issued by the General Manager pursuant\o this Resolution.
Ul[ UB FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 90-22 is hereby rescinded in its entirety.
