DO NOT open attachments or click links from unknown senders or unexpected email. **** Tracey: The attached Progress Report No. 4 explains that it is our opinion that the remediation can be hastened if we temporarily incorporate monitoring well WB-8 into the dual -phase extraction system. Previously this has just been an idea. We asked American to provide a cost estimate for implementing the recommendation as cost-effectively as possible, which is an above -ground connection between the RW-4 and WB-8 wellheads at a cost of approximately $1,700. The wellheads are about 10 ft apart. The connection and hose will obstruct two of the parking stalls at the SW corner of the front office. I am in the office today if you might like to discuss. We therefore strongly recommend that a change order be prepared based on this estimate and accepted for implementation. Estimate allows for 2 people to construct a wellhead with a 1" straw extending down into WB-8 from RW-4 with appropriate connections. Main connection will be with a 2" flexible hose. The wellhead presently on RW-4 will have to be modified or rebuilt to allow connection to WB-8. Barricades will be to block off the 2 parking spaces adjacent wells. Time allotted will allow for adjustments to the system and well heads to optimize performance from WB-8. Don't hesitate to call should you have questions.
