ORDINANCE NO. 2329-1968
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A "SPECIAL USE"
IN R-2 Residential DISTRICT OF
ORDINANCE 2325-19 H COMMONLY KNOWN AS
THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
RICHMOND, INDIANA APPROVED JUNE 3, 1966.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as
follows:
SECTION 1. As provided in Article 21, Section 21.01 and Article 46 of
Ordinance 2325 commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Richmond, Indiana the following described real estate
is allowed as a Special Use to wit: 116 bed Nursing Home to
be located at 2100 Chester Boulevard, Richmond, Indiana.
Also a part of the south half of the southeast quarter
of Section Twenty (20), Township Fourteen (14), Range
One (1) west. Beginning Five hundred forty-eight and
eighteen hundredths (540.16) feet west of the northeast
corner of said south half of said southeast quarter
section; thence west One thousand seventy-nine and eighty
two hundredths (1079,82) feet to a marked stone; thence
south forty-five (45) degrees west One and forty-one
hundredths (1.41) rods to a marked stone; thence south
twenty-seven and nine tenths (27.9) rods to a marked stone;
thence east One thousand ninety-six and thirty-two hundredths
(1096.32) feet to a stake; thence north Twenty-eight and nine
tenths (2b.9) rods to the place of beginning, containing, in
all, Twelve (12) acres.
SECTION 2. As a condition of the aforesaid Special Use and as an addi-
tional restriction on said use, the following requirements
shall hereafter and at all times be met by the owner, leasee
or any other person, firm or corporation using such real
estate.
1. That approval of the Health Facilities Council of the
Indiana State Board of Health be granted prior to construc-
tion.
2. That State Highway approval be granted for access cuts.
3. That all provisions of the Zoning Ordinance regulating
construction and operation be adhered to.
4. That to insure architectural compatibility with surround-
ing structures, architectural drawings be presented to
the Department of City Planning for their review upon
application for Improvement Location Permits.
SECTION 3. The Zoning Administrator of the City of Richmond is hereby
authorized and directed, upon enactment and publication of
this ordinance, to record and approve the issuance of a
permit for the establishment of the use herein allowed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval by the Mayor and publications
as by law required.
