In response to the complaint City Hall received I went to #3 11th Street. I did not enter the lot.
There is a pile of sand in the driveway with a pile of topsoil further back. Its my understanding the topsoil is
from grading for porous pavement to replace or supplement existing concrete pavement. It is also my
understanding the sand is to be used as part of the porous base for these pavers.
I am not involved in that permit. I did not see workers but as it was around noon they may have been at lunch.
I'd recommend the Applicant be reminded that proper BMP's are required by law as necessary to prevent
erosion. Covering the piles with a tarp should be the most. If erosion causes earth to enter the street, it would
be a violation.
There are many reasons the Applicant would want to be proactive in this matter. One reason is that there
appears to be a high probability the City will have citizen assistance in detecting any violation.
Please advise of any questions or for reinspection.
