RESOLUTION NO. 07-30
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
MIDPENINSULA REGIONAL OPEN SPACE DISTRICT AMENDING THE DISTRICT
CREDIT CARD LIMIT FOR ADMINISTRATION/HUMAN RESOURCES,
OPERATIONS, PLANNING AND REAL PROPERTY MANAGERS, GENERAL
COUNSEL AND OPERATIONS AREA SUPERINTENDENTS TO $5,000
WHEREAS,the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District is organized and existing
under and by virtue of the laws of the State of California, with its principal office at 330 Distel
Circle, Los Altos, California 94022-1404, and is duly authorized to transact business in the State of
California; and
WHEREAS, the District currently holds several accounts and maintains in good standing
a business relationship with Mid-Peninsula Bank; and
WHEREAS,the Lender has agreed to issue the District credit cards for use by authorized
positions in the employment of the District, at no cost; and
WHEREAS,the District has authorized the General Manager, Administration/Human
Resources, Operations, Planning, Public Affairs and Real Property Managers, General Counsel,
Operations Area Superintendents (2), Support Services Supervisor, Construction, Maintenance and
Resource Supervisors (4) and Network Specialist to be issued District credit cards; and
WHERAS, staff is proposing to increase the credit limit for all the positions listed above,
except for the General Manager, Public Affairs Manager, Network Administrator and
Construction, Maintenance and Resource Supervisor from two-thousand dollars ($2,000.00) to
five-thousand dollars ($5,000.00), in order to help improve the District's efficiency and
effectiveness in carrying out normal business functions and reduce the frequency of reaching the
maximum limit on existing credit cards.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,that the Board of Directors of the
Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District authorizes and agrees to the terms of the issuance by
the Lender of credit cards to specified District employees to increase the credit limits for the above
listed positions.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space
District on November 14, 2007 at a Regular and Special Meeting thereof, by the following
vote:

Ken Nitz, Pete Siemens
