AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX TO THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, CERTAIN TERRITORY CONTIGUOUS
THERETO, DESCRIBING THE SAME, PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION THEREOF, AND FIXING THE
TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
SECTION 1. That the following described territory be annexed to and declared to
be a part of said City of Richmond, Indiana.
Being a part of the East Half of Section Thirty -Six (36), Township
Fourteen (14) North, Range One (1) Nest in Wayne Township, Wayne
County, Indiana and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the north right of way of United States
Highway Number Forty (State Highway Project I-02•-5(5), said point
being three thousand six hundred four and seventy-eight hundredths
(3604.78) .feet south and four hundred sixteen (416) feet east of the
northwest corner of the northeast quarter of section thirty-six,
township fourteen north, range one west, and running thence, from
said beginning point, along the right of way of said State Highway
Number Forty (40) the following courses and distances; north eighty-
four (84) degrees and fifty-four (54) minutes east three hundred
nineteen and seven tenths (319.7) feet to a point of curve; thence
eastwardly, along a curve to the left with a radius of three hundred
seventy-nine and forty-one hundredths (379.41) feet a distance of two
hundred eighty-five and five tenths (285.5) feet; thence nortii twenty-
three (23) degrees and twenty-seven (27) minutes east one hunc .led
twenty-three and three tenths (123.3) feet to a point of curve:
thence northwardly, along a curve to the left with a radius o! tb-ce
hundred sixty and forty-one hundredths (360.41) feet a distance of
three hundred ninety and thirty-four hundredths (390.34) feet:
thence north thirty-nine (39) degrees and thirteen (13) minutri* west -
one hundred sixty-two and four tenths (162.4) feet; thence no-;n
thirty-two (32) degrees and five (05) minutes west two hundref one
and six tenths (201.6) feet; thence North thirty -,nine (39) d:rllees

(551.6) feet; thence south one thousand three hundred fifty illd
nine tenths (1350.9) fe4y to the place of beginning, contairiag an
area of twelve and sixty-one hundredths (12.61) acres, thew; Ix.-ing

SECTION 2. The terms and conditions applicable to such annexation be thz-,t the

Article 339 C-4, General business District pursuant to Ordinance 232;-1968.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from an after )ts
passage and approval by the Mayor and publication as by law required.
