AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A "SPECIAL USE"
IN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS OF ORDINANCE
2325-1968 COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA
APPROVED JUNE 3, 1968
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as
follows:
SECTION 1. As provided in Article 41, Section 63 and Article 48 of Ordi-
nance 2325 commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Richmond, Indiana the following described real estate
is allowed as a Special Use to wit: Parking Lot to be located
at 713 South "H" Street, Richmond, Indiana.
Being a part of Lot 5 in the Poe and
Hittle Plat of the Oakland Addition
recorded in the City of Richmond
SECTION 2. As a condition of the aforesaid Special Use and as an addi-
tional restriction on said use, the following requirements
shall hereafter and at all times be met by the owner, leasee
or any other person, firm or corporation using such real
estate.
1. Entrance to the lot be from the alley only.
2. That the lot be screened by a decorative fence, other
than a chain link -type fence, said fence being 50%
open, and subject to the approval of the Department of
City Planning. Said decorative fence to be erected on
the North, South and East sides of lot and of such
height to effectively screen the lot and vehicles
from abutting residential uses.
3. Vehicles, other than automobiles to be parked on the
south end of the lot only.
SECTION 3. The Zoning Administrator of the City of Richmond is hereby
authorized and directed, upon enactment and publication of
this ordinance, to record and approve the issuance of a per-
mit for the establishment of the use herein allowed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval by the Mayor and publications as
by law required.
