($89500.00) FROM MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY CASH OPERATING TO MOTOR VEHICLE 'EIGH-
WAY S--26 (4-42-426) STREET, ALLEY, CURE, SIDEWALKS, "MATERIALS
WHEREAS, a request has been made by the Motor Vehicle Highway Department-- ;f
Richmond, Indiana, to transfer the sum of eight thousand five hundred dcila-,s
($89500.00) from the Motor Vehicle Highway Cash Operating, to Motor Vpl-b_:le
Highway S-26 (4-42-426) Street; Alley, Curb, Sidewalks, "Materials", -in'
WHEREAS, the Board of Public; Works and Safety of the City of Richmond �xte_
careful study and consideration on the 3xd day of October, 1968, approved,
that an ordinance be prepared for Common Council°s consideration to nok—:.'' th
above transfer of funds, and
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed sincc the fiLa:Jp, ivP
of the existing annual budged so that it is now necessary to approprjit
money for the various functions of the City Gove•nment than was apprcpa';_at:-.
in the annual budget.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
Indiana.
SXTION 1. That for the expenses of the City Government: and its instit?=tior�s
for the year ending Decembar 31, 1968, the following money is hereby appropzi-
atxi and set apart out of the fund named for the purpose specified. Said su:
berg subject to all laws governing the same. Such amount appropriated .hall
be 3eld to include all expenditures authorized to be made during the year,
unless expressly stipulated by law.
SECTION 2. That for the fiscal period there is hereby appropriated from th=)
Motor Vehicle Highway Cash Operating to meet the extraordinary emergency de,
