AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2325-1968, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, ADOPTED JUNE 3, 1968.
Be It Ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as
follows:
Section 1. WHEREAS, The Zoning Map which is a part of Ordinance No. 2325-
19689 designates and describes as an R-3 zoning district, the
following described property located in the City of Richmond,
Indiana to wit:
Beginning at a point of the intersecting centerlines of North
3rd Street and North "A" Street; thence north along the center-
line of North 3rd Street to a point where the centerline of
North "B" Street intersects the centerline of North 3rd Street;
thence east along the centerline of North "B" Street tothe
centerline of North 5th Street; thence in a southerly direction
along the centerline of North 5th Street to the centerline of
North "A" Street; thence west along the centerline of North "A"
Street back to the point of beginning;
Section 2. WHEREAS, it is the intent and purpose hereof to change the
zoning classification of the above described area from R-3 to
C-3.
Section 3. WHEREAS, a study of this Ordinance was conducted by the Rich-
mond City Plan Commissioraanda public hearing duly advertised,
was held by said Plan Commission on the 5th day of October,
19689 at which time remonstrances were heard from all parties
interested in or affected by this Ordinance.
Section 4. WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission was
seven (7) to none (0) in favor of recommending the adoption of
Ordinance 2363-1968.
NOW THEREFORE:
Section 5. It is hereby ordained that the zoning classification of the
above described property be, and the same is hereby changed to
C-31 and that said property be regulated in accordance with the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana, and all
amendments thereto:
Section 6. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and publication as by law required.
Passed, by the Ric and Common Council, City of Richmond,
Indiana, this day of 1968.
