ORDINANCE 2375-1968
AN ORDINANCE annexing certain real estate situate outside the corporate
boundaries of the City of Richmond, Indiana, but adjacent and contiguous
thereto.
Section 1. -- WHEREAS, Reid Memorial Hospital, Inc., a non-profit cor-
poration, is the owner of the following described real estate which is presently
situate outside the corporate boundaries of the City of Richmond, Indiana, but
adjacent and contiguous thereto, to -wit:
Being a part of the southwest quarter of Section 28, Township 14, Range 1
West, and being more particularly described as follows, to -wit: Beginning
at the southwest corner of the southwest quarter of Section 28, Township 14,
Range l; thence east along the corporation line 190.4 feet; thence north
parallel to the quarter section line 151. 17 feet; thence north 72 degrees 55
minutes east 332.97 feet; thence north 81 degrees 57 minutes east 430.16 feet;
thence north 60 degrees 21 minutes east 80 feet, more or less, to the cor-
poration line;(thence north 1 degree 15 minutes east along the corporation line
890 feet, more or less, to the centerline of Oak Drive;hence west 387.75 feet;
thence south 1 degree west 330 feet; thence west 663.3 feet to the quarter section
line; thence south along the quarter section line 897.60 feet, more or less, to
the place of beginning, containing 19.55 acres,
has, by petition, requested a special ordinance for the purpose of annexing the
contiguous territory described in said petition to the City of Richmond, Indiana.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that
the following described real estate situate outside the boundaries of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, but adjacent and contiguous thereto, to -wit:
Being a part of the southwest quarter of Section 28, Township 14, Range 1 West,
and being more particularly described as follows, to -wit: Beginning at the south-
west corner of the southwest quarter of Section 28, Township 14, Range 1; thence
east along the corporation line 190.4 feet; thence north parallel to the quarter
section line 151. 17 feet; thence north 72 degrees 55 minutes east 332.97 feet;
thence north 81 degrees 57 minutes east 430.16 feet; thence north 60 degrees
21 minutes east 80 feet, more or less, to the corporation line; thence north 1
degree 15 minutes east along the corporation line 890 feet, more or less, to
the centerline of Oak Drive; thence west 387.75 feet; thence south 1 degree west
330 feet; thence west 663.3 feet to the quarter section line; thence south along
the quarter section line 897.60 feet, more or less, to the place of beginning,
containing 19.55 acres,
is hereby annexed to the City of Richmond, Indiana.

Section 2. -- This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval by the Mayor, and publication as by law required.
PASSED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, this
