A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
CONTRACT AMENDMENT FOR THE RENTAL OF TEMPORARY MODULAR
OFFICE BUILDINGS WITH PACIFIC MODULAR STRUCTURES, INC., PROVIDING
UP TO A TWO YEAR CONTRACT TIME EXTENSION AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT AMENDMENT
WHEREAS, on November 30, 2010, the City Council adopted Resolution
2010.245 awarding a contract to Pacific Mobile Structures, Inc. to provide temporary
rental of modular building offices; and
WHEREAS, said contract agreement was to end on February 14, 2012; and
WHEREAS, rental of the modular buildings to house the City Hall Annex is still
needed
WHEREAS, staff is requesting City Council's approval of a two year contract
amendment with Pacific Mobile Structures, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council hereby approves Contract Amendment to the
temporary rental of modular building offices with Pacific Mobile Structures, Inc. and
extend the contract through February 14, 2014, said amendment shall be in a form
approved by the City Attorney.
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to execute said contract amendment
with Pacific Mobile Structures, Inc.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 4 . The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15 day of May 2012.
