�j1IS ADDEND , (Number 1 to Contract No. 163-2016) is made and entered into
this �� —// day of , 2017, by and between Richmond, Indiana, a municipal
corporation acting through ' s Board of Public Works and Safety with its office at 50 North 5th
Street, Richmond, Indiana, 47374 (hereinafter referred to as "City"), and- the Amalgamated
Transit Union, Local No. 1474 (hereinafter referred to as "Union").
WHEREAS, City and Union entered into Contract No. 163-2016 on or about December 28,
2016, which Agreement is the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the
Parties and which Agreement is incorporated herein by reference; and
WHEREAS, The parties to said Agreement wish to amend said Agreement in order that the
Agreement will reflect the negotiated increase in longevity pay for 2017.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants herein contained,
including the above stated recitals, City and Union hereby agree as follows:
1. The City and Union executed and entered into Contract No. 163-2016, on or
about December 28, 2016. Pursuant to Section 3 (Addendums to the Contract) of
said Agreement, addendums will be made throughout the term of the contract in
regards to additional benefits that have been granted to other employees.
Additionally, pursuant to Section DI (Rates of Pay and Longevity) of said
Agreement, negotiated "across the board" raises or bonuses received by city
bargaining units shall also be received by the Rose View Transit/Para Transit Unit
2. The parties wish to amend said Agreement by filing this written instrument setting
forth the negotiated change to Section DI of said Agreement to reflect the
increase of the 2017 longevity pay from the amount of $17.00 per year of service
to the increased amount of $20.00 per year of service.
3. City and Union expressly agree that all other terms, conditions, and covenants
contained in Contract No. 163-2016, shall be in full force and effect, unless such
term, condition or covenant conflicts with this Addendum Number 1, in which
case this Addendum Number 1 shall be controlling.
4. Both parties hereby agree that with the exception of the increase of the 2017
longevity pay increase to the amount of $20.00 per year of service, Contract No.
163-2016 shall remain intact and unchanged and in full force and effect.

5. Both parties agree that any person executing this Contract in a representative
capacity hereby warrants that he or she has been duly authorized by his or her
principal to execute this Addendum.
