AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND CONFIRMING A FRANCHISE AGREEVIENT GRANTING THE
NON-EXCLUSIVE RIGHT, PRIVILEGE AND AUTHORITY TO CONSTRUCT, MAINTAIN AND
OPERATE A COW+iINITY ANTENNA TELEVISION SYSTEM IN THE CITY OF RICHWOND,
INDIANA.
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
has entered into a certain franchise agreement with Clearview Cable of
Richmond, Inc., an Indiana corporation, whereby sold Clearview Cable of
Richmond, Inc. will be granted the non-exclusive right, privilege and
authority to construct, maintain and operate a community antenna television
system in the City of Richmond, Indiana, a copy of which agreement is in-
corporated herein, made a part hereof and marked "Exhibit A"; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety, prior to entering such agree-
ment, held a public hearing on said franchise under the terms of and as
required by the public utility statutes of the State of Indiana; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the citizens of Richmond, Indiana
that such contract be approved;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indians
That the franchise agreement entered into by and between the Board of Public
Works and Safety in the City of Richmond, Indiana and Clearview Cable of Richmond,
Inc., heretofore referred to as "Exhibit A", be and the same is hereby
expressly confirmed and approved.
