AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING. AND EMPOWERING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY
OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, TO PURCHASE CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY FOR AND ON BEHALF
OF THE CITY OF RICWCOND, INDIANA.
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety of Richmond, Indians, deems it
necessary to purchase certain personal property, to -wits
Three Station Wagons
to be used by the Police Department of the City of Richmond, Indiana; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety of Richmond, Indiana, advertised
for and received sealed bids on purchase of such station wagons, as required
by law; and,
WHEREAS, after due study and tabulation of said bids, the Board of Public
Works and Safety has determined the cost of such new station wagons will
exceed the sum of $29006.00; and,
WHEREAS, the lowest and best bid submitted was the net sum of $59524.29 for
the three station wagons.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indians A. .
SECTION I. That the Board of Public Works and Safety of'Richmond, Indiana°,
be, and it is hereby authorized and empowered to purchase for and on b@Mlf
of the City of Richmond, Indiana, the following described personal property,
to -wits
Three Station Wagons for a net price of $59,524.29
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
