ORDINANCE NO. 2251-1967
AN. ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE THE SUM OF FIVE HUMMED DOLLARS (Sb00.00) FROM THE
AIRPORT wam Ac=#iT No. MA-28 (7-71-711)1, PROPERTIES, BUILDINGS AND FIXED
BQUIPIENT, To AIRPORT Bubb Aank N0. MA-17 (3-32-321), SUPPLIES, GASOLINE.
VU3EAS, the_Board of Aviation Commissioners has made a request for a transfer of
funds to maintain and operate the.Airport for the year 19671, and
MHEREAS9 it is deemed necessary by said. Board to transfer the sum of $5W.00 from
Airport Budget Account No. MA-9B (7-71-711), Properties, Buildings and Fixed Equip-
ment, to Airport t Account No. MA-17 t►�) Supplies, gasoline.
MHF.REAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adoption of the
existing annual budget so that it is now necessary .to appropriate more money for the
various functions of the- City' Government then was appropriated in the annual budoet.
WTHEREFORE9 BE,IT ORDAINED by the Common Council -of the City of Richmond, Indiana
S=ON 1. That for the expenses of the City Government and its institutions for the
year ending December 31919679 the following money is hereby appropriated and set
apart out of the fund named for the purpose specified. Said sum being subject to
all lags governing the same. Such amount appropriated shall be held to include all
expenditures authorized to be made during the year, unless expressly stipulated by law.
SBM ON 2. That for the fiscal period there is hereby appropriated from the Airport
Budget to. meet the extraordinary emergency declared to exist.

SBC1ION 3. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now
have unobligated balances which will not be used for the purpose appropriated.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana that
such unnecessary existing appropriations be now reduced in amount as follows: and the
same is appropriated to the above named item.

SSCTION 4. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriation.
SBCTION S. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing
emergency appropriations.
