AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 41 ARTICLE VII SECTION 41.399 ONE-WAY STREETS AND ALLEYS,
SCHEDU;E I.
WHFB'--AS, the Traffic Division of the Polidle Department of Richmond, Indiana has made a
surrey of the traffic along and upon South-6th Street, from South "E" Street to South
"." Street. The survey showed that the residents in the area affected filed no object -
,ion in the petition that was circulated to make South 6th Street from South "E" Street
to South "H" Street one-way in a southbound direction, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety on the 6th day of February 1967 after
considerable study did approve that South 6th Street, from South "E" Street to South "H"
Street be a one-way street in a southbound direction, and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indians
SECTION 1. That Chapter 419 Article VII, Section 41.39 One -Way Streets and Alleys,
Schedule 19 of the Municipal Code of Richmond, Indiana, be and the same is hereby
amended to read as followas
One -Way Streets
1. South 3rd Street from Main Street to South "A" Street, southbound.
2. South 18th Street from M,ain,Street to South "A" Street, northbound.
3. South 20th Street from Main Street to keeveston Road, southbound.
4. 9th Street from South "N" Street to North "C" Street, northbound.
5. 8th Street from North "C" Street to South"N" Street, southbound.
6. South "A" Street from South 3rd Street to South 18th Street, eastbound.
7. South "B" Street from South 5th Street to South 16th Street, westbound.
8. South "C" Street from South 5th Street to South 16th Street, eastbound.
•9. South loth Street from Park Place to South "C" Street, west side of Park, southbound.
10. South loth Street from Park Place to South "C" Street, east side of Park, northbound.
11. Fort Wayne Avenue from Main Street to North "A" Street, southbound.
17. North "C" Street from North 3rd Street to North 5th Street, eastbound.
13. North "D" Street from North 3rd Street to North 4th Street, eastbound.
14. North "A" Street from North 3rd Street to North 16th Street, westbound.
15. North "B" Street from North 6th Street to North 16th Street, eastbound.
16. North "C" Street from North 7th Street to North 16th Street, westbound.
17. North 18th Street from Main Street to North "E" Street, southbound.
18. North 19th Street from Main Street to North "E" Street, northbound.
19. Sailor Street from North llth Street to North 7th Street, westbound.
20. South 6th Street from South "E" Street to South "H" Street, southbound.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage and approval
by the Mayor and publication as required.
