AN MINANCE AUTHORIZING AND EMPOWERING THE BOAD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF
RIC'W ND, INDIANA, TO P1 1CHASE CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY FOR AND ON BEHALF OF
THE CITY OF RICHUM09 INDIANA.
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety of Richmond, Indians, deems it
neceseary to purchase certain personal property, to -wits
Two New 1967 Cars
to be used by the Police Department of the City of Richmond, Indiana, and
SEAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
advertised for and received sealed bids on purchase of two'new cars, as required
by law, and
WHEREAS, after due study and tabulation of said bids, the Board of Public Works
and Safety had determined the cost of such new cars will exceed $29000.009 and
WHEREAS, the lowest and best bid submitted was the net sum of $3,436.16 for the
two new cars.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana
SECTION I., That the Board of Public Works and Safety of Richmond, Indiana, be,
and it is hereby authorized and empowered to purchase for and on behalf of
the City of Richmond, Indiana, the following described personal property, to -snits
Two New 1967 Cars for a net price of $39436.16
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval by the Mayor of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
