AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND EMPOWERING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY
OF RICHMONp, INDIANA, TO PURCHASE CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY FOR AND ON BEHALF
OF THE CITY OF RICHIMDND, INDIANA.
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety of Richmond, Indiana, deems it
necessary to purchase certain personal property, to -wits
One Tractor Mower
to be used by the Street Department of the City of Richmond, Indiana, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
advertised for and received sealed bids on purchase of one tractor mower, as
required by law, and
WHEREAS, after due study and tabulation of said bids, the Board of Public Works
and Safety had determined the cost of such new tractor sower will exceed $20000.00, ,nd
WHEREAS, the lowest and best bid submitted was the net sum of $2,900.00 for the
tractor mower.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Works and Safety of Richmond, Indiana, be,
and it is hereby authorized and empowered to purchase for and on behalf of the
City of Richmond, Indiana, the following described personal property, to -wits
One Tractor (Mower for net price of $29900.00
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
