AN ORDINANCE 70 APPROPRIATE THE SUIT OF SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($7,Oo0.00) FROM THE PARK
AND RHCREATION CASH OPERATING FUND, TO THE PARK AND RECREATIONAL BUDGET ACCOUNT NO. P-10
(1-11-120), SERVICES PERSONAL, PAYROLL.
*EREAS, a rapost has been made by the Park Superintendent.to make the transfer of funds
as herein stated, and
WHEREAS, the Park Superintendent has made a survey of money needed.for the remainder of
the year 1967 and found that the sum of seven thousand dollars ($7,000.00) additional
will be needed to carry out a successful program for the year 19679 and
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adoption for the
various functions of the City Government than was appropriated in the annual budget.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of the City Government and its institutions for the
year ending December 31, 19671 the following money is hereby appropriated and set apart
out of the fund named for the purpose specified, said sum being subject to all laws
governing the same. Such amount appropriated shall be held to include all expenditures
authorized to be made during the year, unless expressly stipulated by law.
SECTION 2. That for the fiscal period there is hereby appropriated from the Park and
Recreation Cash Operating Fund to meet the extraordinary emergency declared to exist.

SECTION 3. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have
unobligated balances which will not be used for the purpose appropriated.
It is therefore ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana that
such unnecessary appropriations be now reduced in amount as follows, and the same is
appropriated to the above named items

SECTION 4. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriation.
SECTION 9. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing
emergency appropriations.
