M ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE THE SUM OF FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS ($400.00). FROM CASH OPERATING
F= TO DOG WARDEN DEPARTMENT BUDGET ACCOUNT NO. 0-Ile (4-43), 14ATERIALS9 REPAIR PARTS.
WHEREAS, on the 30th day of March, 1967 the Dog Warden made a report to the Board of
Public Works and Safety that the truck used by said Dog Warden was in need of motor and
clutch repair, and
WHERM9 the 1967 Budget of the Dog Warden Department showed that funds for such repairs
were not available to replace the motor and clutch, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works and Safety did on the date of March 309 1967 give
authority to the Dog Warden to have the motor and clutch repaired on -the Dog Warden's
truck, and
WHEREAS, The Board of Public Works and Safety on the 13th day of April approved an
Ordinance to be prepared for Councils consideration to transferthe sum of $400.00 from
the Cash Operating Fund, to the Dog Warden Department Budget Account No. O-lla (4-43)
Materials; Repair of Parts, and
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adoption of the existing
annual budget so that it is now necessary to approprfate,more money for various functions
of the City Government then was appropriated.in the annual budget.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of the City Government and its institutions for the
year.epding December 319 19679 the following money.is hereby appropriated and set apart
out of the fund named for the purpose specified,.said sum being subject to all laws
governing the some. Such amount appropriated shall be held to include all expenditures
authorized to be made during the year, unless.expressly stipulated by law.
SECTION 2. That for the fiscal period there is hereby appropriated from the Cash
Operating Fund to meet the extraordinary emergency declared to exist.

SECTION 3. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have
unobligated balances which will not be used for the purpose appropriated.
It is therefore ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana that
such unnecessary appropriations be now reducgd in amount as follows, and the same is
spproprtoted to the above named item:
Reavesteil Reduction
Cash Operating Fund $400.00
SECTION 4. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriation.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing
Mom appropriations.
